This line of research involves experimental studies that contribute to the understanding of the pathophysiological mechanisms of diseases and health conditions, as well as the adaptive responses developed by the human body under these conditions. For this purpose, basic research methodologies in immunopathology (immunohistochemistry and molecular biology) and animal experimentation are used.
