Authorization and Start

  • Established by Resolution No. 02/1994 of the University Council.
  • Recommended by CAPES on April 30, 1996.
  • Activities began in 1997, linked to the Department of Internal Medicine.

Name Change

  • In 2003, it was renamed the Graduate Program in Health Sciences, reflecting its multidisciplinary scope.
