Professional Master's Degree Associated to Health Residency

The course for the Professional Master Degree Associated to Health Residency of the PPCSA has a duration from 12 to 24 months and operates on a yearly regime of subject credits. Each credit corresponds to 15 hours of theoretical or 30 hours of practical class. The title of Master in Health Science will be conferred upon those students that have completed the following stages:
- Compliance with the number of credits per subject, as regulated by the program and Institution.
- Approval in the qualification exam.
- Approval in the Masters dissertation, through an examination board, within the period established by the Program.
- Proof of completion of the Residency in Health, for the students of the Professional Master Degree.
Observation: The candidate for the course of Professional Master Degree Associated to Health Residency should be enrolled, at the time of the selection process, in the penultimate year of the Medicine or Multi-professional Residency Program offered at the Federal University of Uberlândia.
In order to conclude the Professional Master Degree in Health Sciences, with focus on the title of Master, it is necessary a total of 39 credits, distributed as follows:
I. Disciplines/ Subjects: 06 credits;
II. Interdisciplinary Thematic Seminars: 09 credits; and
III. Defense of Course Completion Work, in the form of dissertation, or article accepted for publication, related to the theme of the research program in an area linked to it, with approval from the Collegiate Course: 24 Credits.
The minimum duration for the Master Degree in Health Science is 12 months and the maximum is 24 months.
